Handturned Artisan Exotic Hardwood Fountain Pen 

Unique, hand-turned, exotic hardwood pens - ballpoint, rollerball and fountain pens - hand made on site in Cloud Castle Farm's woodshop. Choose from local native woods like curly Koa and Mango, and resin/hardwood hybrids in beautiful colors and styles.

Each pen takes two days to make - the sanding process begins with 60 grit dry-sanding and moves up through to 1000 grit. Then the wet-sanding begins... the pens are polished with increasingly fine abrasives from 1500 grit all the way through 12,000. Then each gets several coats of polishing wax, and finishes with 10 applications of Beeswax, Canuba wax and Orange Oil. The end result is a pen that is as smooth as glass and that feels so perfect in your hand that you will just look for excuses to use it.
